AES Decrypt

Decrypt AES-GCM text produced by AES Encrypt, locally in your browser.

🔒 Your data is processed locally in your browser and is never uploaded to our servers.

How it works

KadiTools reads the header, salt and IV from the encrypted text, derives the key again from your password with PBKDF2, and decrypts with AES-GCM. GCM checks an authentication tag, so if the password is wrong or a single character was changed, decryption fails instead of returning garbage.

Security notes

Wrong password and modified data give the same error on purpose: AES-GCM can't tell them apart. Nothing you paste here is stored or uploaded.

FAQ

Why does decryption fail?

Most often the password is wrong, or the text was cut or edited when copying. Also check that it was produced by KadiTools AES Encrypt.

Does it accept hex and Base64?

Yes, the format is detected automatically.
