How it works
KadiTools loads your image into an in-memory canvas and re-encodes it at the quality level you choose. JPG and WebP support a quality slider that trades visual detail for file size; PNG is a lossless format, so the slider does not change its size — use JPG or WebP when you need a smaller file.

Is my image uploaded anywhere?
No. The compression runs entirely in your browser using the Canvas API. The file never leaves your device.
Which format should I choose?
JPG works well for photos. WebP usually gives a smaller file at the same visual quality. PNG is best for images that need transparency or sharp edges, like logos.
Is there a file size limit?
Very large images may be slow to process depending on your device, but there's no artificial limit set by KadiTools.
