How it works
PDFs often reveal more than you think: the author's name (from your computer account), the software and version used, and exact creation and modification dates. The remover clears the Info dictionary and deletes the XMP metadata stream, then saves a clean copy. The visible content is unchanged. Note that text and images inside the pages can still contain personal information.
