Compress PDF
Reduce a PDF's file size directly on your device. Nothing is uploaded.

How it works
KadiTools renders each page on your device, then rebuilds the document with compressed images. Choose a lower resolution or image quality for a smaller file. This works especially well for scanned PDFs and image-heavy documents.
Important note
To compress a PDF in a browser, the pages are flattened into images. The appearance is preserved, but selectable text, links, form fields, annotations and other interactive elements will not remain editable in the downloaded file.
FAQ
Are my files uploaded?
No. The entire process happens in your browser and the file never leaves your device.
Which compression level should I choose?
Balanced is a good default for most documents. Use Strong compression for sharing or viewing on screen, and Better quality when the document contains small text or detailed images.
Will every PDF become smaller?
Not always. PDFs that are already optimized, mostly vector artwork, or mostly text can sometimes be the same size or larger after being converted to images.
