How it works
The JSON is parsed and serialized again without any whitespace. Values are untouched, so the result is equivalent to the original — just smaller. The status line shows how many bytes were saved.

Can minifying break my JSON?
No. The output is produced by the JSON serializer from the parsed data, so it is always valid and equivalent.
