How it works
The calendar difference counts whole years, then whole months, then the remaining days — the way people usually describe ages and durations (31 January → 1 March is 1 month and 1 day). The total in days is exact and isn't affected by daylight-saving changes. Business days count Monday to Friday, without public holidays (use the Business Days Calculator to exclude them).
FAQ
Is the end date included?
No, by default: from Monday to Tuesday is 1 day. Tick “Include the end date” to count both days, as for hotel nights vs. days of a trip.
