How it works

Keyword density = occurrences of the keyword × number of words in the keyword ÷ total words. Modern search engines don't reward a specific density; what matters is natural, helpful content. As a rule of thumb, a main keyword around 0.5–2.5% reads naturally, while much higher values can look like keyword stuffing.

FAQ

What's the ideal keyword density?

There isn't one. Use the keyword naturally in the title, first paragraph and headings, then write for readers.
