How it works
Each grade is converted to a percentage and multiplied by its weight; the average is the sum divided by the total weight entered so far. To find the score you need on the final: needed = (target − current average × (1 − final weight)) ÷ final weight. If the result is above 100%, the target can't be reached with the final alone.
